Ganesh Himal trekking area lies in the central eastern region of Nepal, one of the most isolated and least explored area Nepal's Himalayas. Only a few foreigners are explored in recent years. The Ganesh Himal is named after the elephant-headed God of Good Fortune. This region offers untouched natural splendor, wild and friendly inhabitations and Range Peaks.
During the trek, we observe the different ways of life, culture and come in contact with the people in the small village, passing through the dense forest and meadows.  Only a few foreigners have explored the area so the culture is rich and lifestyle has not changed, everything is virgin you can say it is real Nepal. Ganesh Himal is camping trek (Tent) but few nights you stay at the local house to experience the real local lifestyle.Our company has a village development project in the area so you have a chance to experience it.

Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu international airport, our representative will meet and welcome you to Nepal and then you will be transferred to the hotel. Once you finish the check-in procedure, you can rest and relax at the hotel.  After short rest, we take you short Thamel tour which is main tourist hub in Kathmandu to make you familiar with some good restaurants, ATMs, money changer, Supermarket, gear shop and other necessary things you might need for your trip. After a short explore you will be taken to our office for a trip briefing meeting.

 Overnight in hotel.

After having breakfast we will proceed for the sightseeing.

Pashupatinath Temple: It is a most famous Hindu temple devoted to Lord Shiva, located beside the Bagmati River. One of the most significant temples for the Hindu devotees around the world and the UNESCO site. The golden pagoda style temple is richly carved with silver doors. On the day of Shivaratri, a big fair is held around the month of February/March.
Boudhanath stupa: One of the biggest Stupas in the world is located on the east in Kathmandu. It stands with four pairs of eyes in the four prime directions, keeping watch for virtuous behavior and human success. King Man Deva at the advice of the Goddess Mani Jogini had built this remarkable Stupa. The Stupa resembles the Mahayana philosophy. After back from the tour you have some times for rest and prepare your gear and so on. Overnight in hotel.

After breakfast, we take a drive. The first part of the driver to truly is black and nice road even though a lot of turning and corner. You cross Trisuli river and through the Trishuli Bazaar to proceed to a sole and drive up to Satdobato which is a bumpy road. enjoying the sight and passing through some local houses with a great view around. Satdovato includes mix culture such as Tamang, Chhetri Braman etc. Where is also a high school and the health post. We do camping for overnight just after the town.

After breakfast, we take gradual and last step up to Kisping for lunch. It is a nice walk throw terraces and a village. Consist of Tamang & Dalit people.Kispang ha scenic group and small monastery of Buddhist people and on another side small holy rive with Hindus temple. So pilgrim place for both hinds and Buddhist people stay unity in Nepal.

After Lunch, we continue gradually up to Bhalche village where we camp for tonight. It is a nice walk throw terraces, Tamang village and also can see a nice waterfall. Bhalche is nice Tamang village where you have a small school and government health post, we camp another side of the village where you have nice ground and surrounded by Buddhist prey flag and nice Terrance and village view can be seen other side. 

Overnight in Camp.

After breakfast, we strain toward to Thulo chour. For Lunch and walk to Gonga or overnight. After Bhalche we strain through a jungle, crossing some small streams river on way. Now we approach to Thulo chour a beautiful ground in the middle of the jungle. Where are also some chattel Shed, people living in the temporary hut? Who looks after cartel and collecting bamboo to make the basket, take lunch here.

Straining through the thick forest of pine & Rhododendron. Crossing some small springs then step up. We even see animals such as Himalayan monkey and also the great view of the Langtang Mountains. 

Overnight in Camp.

Early morning enjoys the view of Langtang and Tibet range. After breakfast we hike through thick rhododendron and pine forest, with a good chance to see the animals that include Monkeys, Leopard, it is a short walk up to make difficult because of altitude and the steep up. Either you take early lunch on the way or take late lunch at Rupchet.  Late afternoon is free and easy, can enjoy the great Himalayan charm of Tibet range  & Gosaikunda range, Rupchet is Basecamp of Sing-la top and highest altitude to sleep for your trek. The camping site is nice and big ground.

Overnight in Camp.

We ought to start our journey early in the early morning to see the sunrise from the top of sing-la. It takes almost two hours to approach, we mostly need to steps up. From where we can glance the view of Ganesh Himal range, Manaslu, Annapurna, Langtang & Tibet range. After enjoying the scenery we have to descend with the view of Ganesh Himal range and the small valley down. We proceed through the pine & Rhododendron forest, Where we report to the ground beneath the jungle. Today is the hardest day of the trek and height altitude you reach.

Overnight in Camp.

Approximately for 10-15 minutes, we need to walk through the jungle, then proceeding through a field of corn, maize, Weight, barley etc... Even with the glance of Ganesh Himal. We descend down to a remote village of Tamang Ghele. Where is also a primary school, half day rest & exploring the village.

Overnight in Camp.

 

For a few hours, easy walk then descending and we approach Borang village. Where we encounter with Tamang peoples, even glancing Ganesh Himal view. From Borang village we strain to Jharlang through fields and crossing the bridge, glancing the view from the way and enjoying. We approach Jharlang Andovernightss in the yard of the church. If the group is big we even need to stay inside the temple.

Overnight in Camp.

We continue our trek through down and with a few ups & downs .enjoy great views of the mountains, as we walk through the friendly small villages where the local folks greet us warmly; we also come across nice farmlands with different vegetable grown of which some is consumed by the local folks & the rest is sold in the local bazaar. Then we approach to hot spring. Where we can even bath and proceed on. From the way, we can observe the river Netrawati. Kintang phadi is a small valley with mix culture where the river Netrawati and Kintang river are mixed over. Near Riverside.

Overnight in camp.

Proceeding through rice fields, some small village. it is gradual down, small up and mostly flat easy walk following the Netrawati riverside which river comes from Ganesh Himal glacier. nice rice field and terrace and villages make your walk scenic. you reach Kjhaahre Baazar which is a shopping town for the local around than walk easy way to Serabensi Jyamrung for overnight, stay at the local house. Our company has a village development project here. We stay at the local house and get involved in the daily local lifestyle. 

Overnight in Camp.

We get familiar with the surroundings & the families we will be living with. We also spend our time using our skills by teaching at our school project, help in health project in the village s, as we work with the local people & get involved in their daily activities; we can also go fishing, or swimming whichever you prefer. And we show you all the social project we have done for the locals.

We cross the river by hanging bridge and take private 4whl waiting from Kathmandu. Half part of the road to Dhading Bensi which is district headquarter is bumpy and after Dhading Bensi drive to Malekhu where we reach the highway and to Kathmandu which is half part of the road is black. It is a scenic drive.

 Overnight in a hotel.

Today we will walk around the local town in Kathmandu to experience the historical, cultural and spiritual affluence to unveil the social and historical mysteries to view the artistic Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour to capture the snaps of the centuries-old monuments and historical crafts in the Kathmandu city. We explore the Local market of Ason, glass beads market at Indrachowk, oldest supermarket at New Road, Kilagal, and Hidden Stupa, etc. Then we walk to Kathmandu Durbar Square. The most unique experience in the square is the visit to the temple of the living goddess “Kumari”. Durbar square walking tour will be a perfect mixture of culture, history, art, architecture and traditional values prevalent in Kathmandu valley.

 Overnight in Hotel.

As per your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the international airport of Kathmandu 3 hours prior to the flight time and your tour ends here.
