About Trishuli River Rafting
Trishli River Rafting is a perfect day tour package. Leave the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu for a day and experience the natural beauty that Nepal has to offer in a unique way. Spending a few hours on the water is a great way to relax your body, mind, and spirit. Like most rivers in Nepal, the Trishuli originates in Tibet and flows down through the Himalayan Mountains. Its ice-cold water is refreshing on a hot summer's day, and a swim in the river is the perfect reward after a strenuous hike. The Trishuli River, with its turquoise waters and large boulders, is rated class 2 to 3. It’s a calm river, ideal for adventurers of any age.
We left early in the morning and drove towards Fissling After several hours, we boarded the raft and commenced our expedition along the river.Enjoy the scenery of rolling hills, jungle, terraced fields and villages. The journey covers about 20 kilometers from Charoudi to Fissling. Sit back, relax and enjoy the drive. Observe the diversity of the landscapes and villages around the river. There are several exciting rapids named Snail's Nose, Teen Devi, Malev, Monkey Rapid, Surprise, Monsoon, Cotton Pony, Ladies Delight, S Bend, Highway, Monsoon and Pinball Rapid. These are still considered class 2-3 but offer quite a thrill during the monsoon season.
Our journey will be waiting for you at Fisling and we will return you to Kathmandu by car. Please note that there are various ways to extend this adventure. Combine your rafting trip with paragliding, bungee jumping, jungle safari or hiking. Let us know your interests and we will suggest a combination package that suits you. This is a one-day package only.If you want to extend the trip to 2 or 3 days (1 or 2 nights), you have the great option of extending the trip and camping on a secluded beach next to the river.
People of all ages can enjoy rafting on the Trishuli River.No previous experience is required for river rafting. Just a desire to have fun is enough. Our guides are skilled and familiar with the rivers. You will be provided with everything you need for a safe and comfortable trip. Rafting can be enjoyed all year round, even during the monsoon season, when the rains make the rapids even more exciting. Breeze Adventures organises fully guided rafting trips. The package starts and ends in Kathmandu. However, we can arrange transportation from Pokhara to the river and back. Just let us know.

Day 01: Drive to Chalaudi, raft to Fisling, then drive to Kathmandu/Pokhara
Trishli River Rafting Schedule
6:00 AM: Wake up and have breakfast at the hotel. Or if you want to carry your breakfast with you, you can have the hotel pack it for you and eat it on the way.
6:30AM: After breakfast, walk 5 minutes to the bus stop. The tourist bus stop, called Sorakhutte Nayabazar, is just a 5-7 minute walk from Thamel. If your hotel is far from the bus stop, arrange a taxi to take you there.
7:00 AM: The tourist bus is scheduled to depart for Pokhara at 7:00 AM. During the journey to the Trishuli River, passengers will have the opportunity to observe the picturesque suburbs of Kathmandu, showcasing local lifestyles and vibrant markets.After a 45-minute drive from Kathmandu Valley, you will start your drive through the scenic countryside. If the weather is good, you can enjoy beautiful views of Ganesh Himal, Manaslu and Annapurna ranges of the Himalayas from the bus.
9:00 AM: The bus will stop at a local restaurant where you can enjoy hot/cold drinks and snacks and use the toilet. If you haven't had breakfast yet, you can have a light breakfast here. The bus stop time is about 20-30 minutes in total.
10:30 AM: Upon arrival at the station, our team will be there to assist you and transport you to the rafting launch site. If you are traveling from Pokhara to Pokhara or Kathmandu, please leave your luggage with our team now. We recommend you lock your luggage for your own safety as our team will leave it at the rafting end office. Afterwards, our team will escort you to the river bank for about 5 minutes by foot and give you all the important information and a brief briefing on how to use the paddle before your rafting adventure begins. Should you have any inquiries at this moment, please feel free to ask.
11:00 AM: Rafting begins! Our Trishuli River trip starts with exciting rapids. You can feel the glacier meltwater in the river and it feels so good under the warm sunshine. The raging rapids will give you thrills all day long.
12:00 PM: Our team stops to eat at a restaurant near Trishuli River a lunch buffet featuring a diverse selection of menu items will be provided.If you haven't tried Dal Zat yet, this is your chance to do so. It feels so good to have lunch on the banks of Trishuli River. The rafting continues after lunch.
1:30 PM: Hmmm! Time flies when you're having fun! This is what it's like rafting on the Trishuli River. When you're done, it feels like it just started! Following an exhilarating adventure, we will dry our clothing and prepare to proceed to our next destination. Whether your next stop is Kathmandu or Pokhara, our team will ensure that transportation is arranged for you. Sometimes, luggage can get mixed up, which can cause inconvenience to both parties, so don't forget to check your luggage again before boarding the bus. It's a scenic 4-hour drive to Pokhara. If you are returning to Kathmandu, please anticipate a travel time of approximately 5 hours, subject to traffic conditions.5:30 PM:
After a 4-5 hour drive on the beautiful highway, you'll arrive in Pokhara/Kathmandu. If you have booked a hotel and pickup is included, let us know where you're arriving so we can pick you up at your hotel. If not, please take a taxi to your hotel. Of course, we are here to support you through this process too.

Where is the Trishuli River?
The Trishuli River is located in the northwest of Kathmandu Valley. The river originates in Lake Gosainkunda in the Langtang region and flows into the Narayani River, which then flows into the Ganges River in India. The river is beautiful, clean, and has cold glacial water. Trishuli River is very popular among Hindus because it is said that Lord Shiva struck his trident in the Himalayas and the river Trishuli flowed from its mouth. Many Hindus bathe in the river during certain festivals, believing that by doing so they can get rid of their sins and attain happiness. There are two very famous pilgrimage sites on the banks of Trishuli River. One is called Betravotee Ganga and the other is called Devghat. Both are visited by thousands of pilgrims throughout the year during festival times. This trip covers 25 kilometers from Adamghat to Malinga. If you want to extend the trip to 2 days, you can drive another 25 kilometers from Maling to Fisling.
