Bimal, the owner of the Eco Hotel, took me to Monkey Temple. He told me a lot about the number of steps to the temple, how the temple came about, the name of the Buddha, etc. It was more fun than going alone.
We were also taken to a mandala artist shop in the temple grounds, where we were able to get commentary on the mandala, which was a very valuable experience.
I can communicate reliably with him if I can speak English. Even those who are not confident in listening or speaking can enjoy it with confidence because they communicate politely through translation apps and English typing.
