Lost in Beauty of Khopra Danda

The sunrise at Khopra Ridge was the most unreal view I had ever witnessed. When first light reached the peaks of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna South, they were golden against a deep blue sky. Our guide Madhu was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He made the trip very enjoyable with his extensive knowledge of the trail and the Himalayas. It was pretty magical to stand in peace, sip hot tea and look out over the 360-degree Himalayan view. Unlike other crowded trekking spots in Nepal, this moment was peaceful and almost entirely my own.
