A hidden gem in Annapurna Region

I recently did the Khopra Danda Trek, and it was actually an unforgettable journey. It offered a perfect balance between adventure, peace and cultural immersion. Unlike the busy Annapurna trails, this route was peaceful, so we could connect deeper with nature. The trek was well-organized by best heritage tour. And our guide, Sadan and our porter, Ramji, ensured we were comfortable and well taken care of during the journey. One of the most remarkable moment was a witness to the sunrise from Khopra Ridge, where the sky was changed in orange and pink, revealing amazing view of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South and Machpuchare. It was a real experience, which mounted between towering peaks, and soaked in the calm beauty of the Himalayas.
Another main attraction in the trip was our trek for the Khopra Lake (Care Lake), a sacred and clean place inhabited among the fantastic scenario. The trek to lake was both challenging and rewarding, and offered attractive views along the way. In addition, cultural exchanges in Gurung and Magar villages provided a unique and rich dimension for the trip. The ability to experience the warm hospitality of the locals, their traditional lifestyle and their rich heritage made the journey even more special.
