Amazing trek and beautiful lake

I just got back from the langtang gosaikunda trek and it was such an amazing journey. From the driving to the trekking, each part did not back out to surprise me. The beautiful mountains, rivers, forest and small traditional villages along the route were truly mesmerizing. For me this trek was the perfect balance of nature and culture exploration.
During our rest day in Kyanjin Gompa, we explored yak cheese factory and the gompa itself. We also trek to Tserkoli viewpoints. Although the path to Tserkoli viewpoints was not so easy but the view made it totally worth it. Thanks to our guide Mr. Sadan Gurung, who helped me to overcome such challenging path. The main memorable part for me during this trek was reaching Gosaikunda Lake. I had heard about this lake many time and when I got to see it, it was simply gorgeous. The water in the lake was so cold but I saw some people taking dip in it. At that time I got so surprised and my guide told me that people who follow Hindu religion considered it holy to take bath in Gosaikunda Lake.
Also the accommodation during the trek was comfortable and cozy. The teahouses were simple yet hygienic and provide a cozy night. The meals served were very flavor and consist of authentic traditional food. I got to taste the yak ghee and yak cheese. I liked their taste so much that I bought some of the ghee and cheese from the local people.
Overall my trek went very smoothly and I had a great time in the langtang region. Thanks to Best Heritage Tour and specially Mr. Bimal, MD of the company for making this trek this much good and perfect. I will surely suggest this trek to my friends and anyone who are willing to explore Nepal and langtang region.
