After check-in and some time to refresh, you will attend a detailed trip briefing by Mr. Bimal Dhamala, where you will receive important information about the itinerary, trekking preparations, and safety guidelines. If time permits, you can take a short stroll around Thamel, Kathmandu’s vibrant tourist hub, to explore its lively streets, shops, and cultural atmosphere. The day concludes with a relaxing evening at your hotel, preparing for the exciting journey ahead.
After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu’s most significant cultural and historical landmarks, all listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The tour provides deep insights into Nepal’s spiritual traditions, ancient architecture, and vibrant local culture.
Pashupatinath Temple
Your first stop is Pashupatinath Temple, Nepal’s most sacred Hindu temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Located along the Bagmati River, the temple is an important pilgrimage site where devotees perform rituals and prayers. You will witness the temple’s intricate pagoda-style architecture and observe Hindu cremation ceremonies on the riverbanks, offering a unique spiritual experience.
Boudhanath Stupa
Next, visit Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world and a major center of Tibetan Buddhism. The massive white dome, adorned with Buddha’s all-seeing eyes, is surrounded by colorful prayer flags and bustling monasteries. You can walk around the stupa in a clockwise direction (Kora) while spinning prayer wheels, experiencing the peaceful and meditative ambiance.
Swyambhunath Stupa
Perched on a hilltop, Swyambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, offers breathtaking panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley. A blend of Hindu and Buddhist influences, the stupa is famous for its golden spire, prayer flags, and resident monkeys. Climb the stone steps to the top and enjoy the serene atmosphere while observing monks in prayer.
Patan Durbar Square
Your final stop is Patan Durbar Square, an ancient royal palace complex in Lalitpur, known for its exquisite Newari architecture, intricate wood carvings, and centuries-old temples. You will explore attractions like Krishna Mandir, Hiranya Varna Mahavihar (Golden Temple), and the beautifully restored courtyards. Stroll through the nearby streets, where artisans still practice traditional metalwork and pottery.
After a full day of cultural exploration, return to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening in Kathmandu, preparing for the next day’s adventure to the Everest region.
The adventure to the Everest region begins with an early morning scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,860m), offering breathtaking views of Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse. Upon landing at Tenzing-Hillary Airport, one of the world’s most famous high-altitude airstrips, you will meet your trekking crew and begin the trek. The trail descends gradually through lush forests and Sherpa villages, following the Dudh Koshi River and crossing suspension bridges draped with prayer flags, with stunning views of Kusum Kanguru Peak (6,367m).
After 3 to 4 hours of trekking, you will reach Phakding (2,610m), a peaceful riverside village. After checking into a cozy tea house, you can explore the village or visit Rimishung Monastery. As evening falls, enjoy a warm meal and relax, preparing for the uphill trek to Namche Bazaar the next day.
Today's 6 to 7-hour trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) takes you through Sagarmatha National Park, crossing suspension bridges, dense pine forests, and Sherpa villages. The trail follows the Dudh Koshi River, passing Monjo and Jorsalle, before a steep climb rewards you with the first glimpse of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Upon arrival at Namche Bazaar, the bustling Sherpa hub, check into a cozy tea house and explore the town’s cafés, shops, and monasteries. The evening is for rest and acclimatization, preparing for the journey ahead.
Today is a crucial rest and acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar (3,440m) to allow your body to adjust to the increasing altitude. Since the oxygen level decreases as you go higher, a short hike to a higher elevation before returning to Namche helps in acclimatization. After breakfast, you can take an optional hike to Everest View Hotel (3,880m), one of the highest-altitude hotels in the world. The steep uphill trail is challenging but rewarding, offering spectacular panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku. Enjoy a warm drink while soaking in the breathtaking Himalayan scenery before descending back to Namche.
After returning, you have time to explore Namche Bazaar, the bustling heart of the Khumbu region. You can visit the Sherpa Culture Museum, which showcases the rich mountaineering history and traditions of the Sherpa people, or stop by Namche Monastery, a peaceful site adorned with colorful prayer flags and Buddhist murals. The lively local market is also worth exploring, offering trekking gear, souvenirs, and cozy bakeries serving fresh coffee and pastries. The rest of the day is for relaxation and acclimatization-staying hydrated and resting at your tea house to prepare for the next day’s trek.
After experiencing the breathtaking beauty of Namche Bazaar, today you will trek back to Lukla (2,860m), retracing the trail through Sagarmatha National Park, dense forests, and traditional Sherpa villages. This is your final trekking day in the Everest region, offering a chance to enjoy the scenery at a more relaxed pace. The trek starts with a steep downhill descent towards the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges and passing through Jorsalle, Monjo, and Phakding. Along the way, you’ll get your last glimpses of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam, as well as a chance to reflect on your journey. The trail becomes easier as you approach Lukla, where you can celebrate the completion of your trek with your team.
For those looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, an optional Everest Base Camp helicopter tour is available. Instead of trekking, you can take a scenic helicopter ride from Namche Bazaar, flying over Everest Base Camp, Khumbu Glacier, and Kala Patthar before landing back in Lukla. Whether trekking or flying, the day ends with an evening of relaxation in Lukla, enjoying a final night in the mountains before returning to Kathmandu.
After an unforgettable trekking experience in the Everest region, today you will take an early morning flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu. The 35-minute scenic flight offers one last breathtaking view of the Himalayan peaks, deep valleys, and lush landscapes before landing at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel, where you can relax and unwind after the trek. The rest of the day is free for leisure and exploration. You can visit local markets for souvenirs, enjoy a spa or massage to relieve muscle fatigue, or simply rest at your hotel. This evening is a perfect time to reflect on your adventure and prepare for the next part of your journey to Chitwan the following day.
Today, you will leave the Himalayan landscapes behind and head toward Chitwan National Park, one of Nepal’s most famous wildlife reserves. After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Chitwan (approx. 5-6 hours), passing through picturesque hills, terraced fields, and riverside villages.
En route, enjoy an exciting white-water rafting experience in the Trishuli River, a thrilling adventure with gentle rapids and stunning surroundings. After rafting, continue the journey to Chitwan National Park, where you will check into a jungle resort. In the evening, immerse yourself in the local culture with a traditional Tharu cultural program, featuring dance performances and music by the indigenous Tharu community. Enjoy a relaxing night in your jungle lodge, preparing for an exciting wildlife safari the next day.
Today is all about exploring the rich biodiversity of Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its diverse wildlife and lush landscapes. After an early breakfast, embark on a Jeep Safari or Elephant Safari through the dense jungles, where you have the chance to spot rhinos, deer, wild boars, gharials and if lucky, the elusive Bengal tiger. The safari takes you deep into the heart of the park, offering incredible opportunities for wildlife photography and nature appreciation.
Later, enjoy a canoeing adventure on the Rapti River, where you can observe mugger crocodiles, exotic bird species and other aquatic life in their natural habitat. This is followed by a guided jungle walk, where experienced naturalists will introduce you to the region’s unique flora and fauna. A visit to the Elephant Breeding Center provides insight into Nepal’s conservation efforts and the lives of these majestic animals. After a day filled with adventure and nature, return to your jungle lodge for a relaxing evening.
Start your day early with a bird-watching excursion in Chitwan National Park, known for its rich avian diversity. The park is home to over 500 species of birds, including the rare greater adjutant stork, elephant-headed myna, and kingfishers. Explore the park’s wetlands, grasslands, and riverbanks as you spot a variety of native and migratory birds in their natural habitat. This peaceful activity provides a perfect way to connect with nature before continuing your journey.
After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive to Pokhara (approximately 5-6 hours). Along the way, enjoy views of the Trishuli River, lush valleys, and majestic mountain landscapes. Upon arrival in Pokhara, you can check into your hotel and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of this lakeside city.
Today, you’ll enjoy the beauty and calmness of Pokhara, a city surrounded by stunning lakes and the towering Annapurna Range. Start your day with a visit to Phewa Lake, where you can enjoy a boating trip while taking in the panoramic views of Mount Machapuchare (Fishtail Peak) and the surrounding Himalayas. Afterward, head to Devi’s Fall, a beautiful waterfall with a mysterious underground tunnel.
Next, visit the Peace Stupa, a Buddhist pagoda perched high above the city, offering sweeping views of Pokhara, Phewa Lake, and the surrounding mountains. You can also take a short hike to Pumdikot, which provides another incredible viewpoint of the Annapurna and Machapuchare peaks. Return to your hotel in the afternoon, where you can relax or explore more of Pokhara’s vibrant cafés and markets. The day ends with a peaceful evening by the lake.
Today is dedicated to an exciting adventure day in Pokhara, packed with thrilling activities. Start early with a sunrise trip to Sarangkot for an awe-inspiring view of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, along with the first light illuminating the majestic Machapuchare (Fishtail Peak). The sunrise is followed by an adrenaline-filled paragliding experience, offering a bird's-eye view of the Pokhara Valley, Phewa Lake and the surrounding mountains.
For those seeking even more adventure, you can also try bungee jumping from the Hemja bridge or experience the thrills of zip lining- one of the world’s longest and steepest zip lines. These activities provide unforgettable experiences and are perfect for adrenaline seekers. After a day filled with action, return to your hotel to relax, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and reflect on your thrilling adventure.
On Day 13, you will leave the beautiful city of Pokhara and head back to Kathmandu. You can choose to travel by flight (approximately 25 minutes) or by road (approximately 6-7 hours), depending on your preference. The flight provides stunning aerial views of the Himalayas, while the road journey offers a chance to see more of the countryside.
Upon arriving in Kathmandu, you will check into your hotel and have the rest of the day free for shopping or exploring any sights you may have missed earlier in the tour. In the evening, enjoy a cultural program showcasing traditional Nepali dance and music while you have a delightful farewell dinner, marking the end of your incredible journey through Nepal. This is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the memories made and the experiences shared during your adventure.
On the final day of your tour, you will have time for some last-minute shopping or sightseeing in Kathmandu. Depending on your flight schedule, you can explore the local markets, relax at your hotel, or visit a nearby cafe.
